Excellence in training professors and researchers
FGV Rio Law Master's and PhD degree courses include a pioneering teaching proposal and are the first in Brazil entirely focused on Law and Regulation: an innovative and fundamental topic for the country's development.
The multiple aspects that affect regulatory activity directly or indirectly serve as a common thread for professors and the institution as a reference for the work carried out at FGV Rio Law’s three graduate level studies.
Admission Process
The Program offers positions in Master's and PhD degree courses on Law and Regulation and provides opportunities for doctors to deepen their studies on theory through a Post-Doc internship involving Law and Regulation.
Visit the website for more information about the admission processes in progress or already closed.

Separate Disciplines
The Graduate Program offers the possibility of attending elective disciplines in the Master's and PhD degree courses as a "Separate Student."

Program Structure
The PPGD has two lines of research in the Master's and PhD degree courses: "Regulatory Governance, Institutions, and Justice" and "Economy, Intervention, and Regulatory Strategies."

Professors with extensive academic experience
The Program brings together professors with different educational backgrounds who can contribute to the development of academic research in Law and Regulation. The interactions among and with them allow for a broad view of regulatory matters and, simultaneously, guarantee theoretical references for the knowledge deepening expected from a Graduate Program.
